Stand Up to Discrimination

The goal of ADCMA’s work is fighting discrimination in the Arab and Muslim communities.  We have found that the first step to understanding discrimination and the context in which it exists lies in educating oneself on the deeper issues that the Arab and Muslim American communities have faced in the last thirty years.  Since September 11, these communities have experienced greater incidents of hate crimes, discrimination, and general unwillingness from the public at large to understand the inherent diversity of Arabs and Muslims living in Massachusetts.  The information in this section serves as supplemental reading and serves to educate individuals on their rights as citizens and residents of this country.
