Employment Discrimination
· Visit the website of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for information
  on your workplace rights. http://www.eeoc.gov.
· Questions and answers from the EEOC on the workplace rights of Muslims,
  Arabs and South Asians.

· Contact the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee of MA at 617-262-8902 to
  report your incident or to get in touch with an attorney or send an email to

Hate Crimes
· Contact your local police department and file an official police report.

Housing Discrimination
· File a complaint by contacting the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

Education Discrimination
· File a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights at the

U.S. Government Abuses of Civil Liberties
· The Office of the Inspector General (OIG), in the United States Department of Justice
  (DOJ), investigates allegations of civil rights and civil liberties abuses by employees in
   the FBI, DEA, INS, Federal Bureau of Prisons, US Marshals Service, US Attorneys Offices,
  and all other Department of Justice agencies (that includes the Police). File a complaint
  by calling 1-800-869-4499 click here to Report a Complaint.  You can also read this in
  Arabic.
· For complaints specific to the INS you can fill out this complaint form to report abuse.

Civil Rights under Massachusetts Law
· The Massachusetts Civil Rights Act (MCRA) was established to protect the rights of all
  citizens and visitors to Massachusetts against hate crimes.  Under the MCRA, an individual
  may obtain an injunction if he or she is the victim of threats, coercion or intimidation on
  the basis of his/her protected category (race, religion, national origin, age, gender, sexual
